Pslam 119 Challenge

Psalm 119 (N1V)

1 Blessed are they whose ways are blameless,
who walk according to the law of the LORD.

2 Blessed are they who keep his statutes
and seek him with all their heart.

3 They do nothing wrong;
they walk in his ways.

4 You have laid down precepts
that are to be fully obeyed.

5 Oh, that my ways were steadfast
in obeying your decrees!

6 Then I would not be put to shame
when I consider all your commands.

7 I will praise you with an upright heart
as I learn your righteous laws.

8 I will obey your decrees;
do not utterly forsake me.
I have been diligently working on memorizing scripture the last couple of years. I recently read on a fellow bloggers ‘post about memorizing scripture’ where she was working on Ps 119. (Sorry I can’t remember which blog, I have been reading so many lately) I thought that I would take up her challenge and memorize it also. I want to also put out a challenge to anyone that would like to hide more of God’s word in thier heart to memorize it with me. I am going to take it eight verses at a time as this blogger suggested. I will work on this first set of scriptures for two weeks and than move to the next eight. Let me know if you are going to take up this challenge and I will pray for you that God blesses you in this Spiritual Practice which will enable you to know HIM more! Happy Memorizing!!
